Soon, there won’t have to be a trade-off between extreme driving performance and electric mobility. At MINI, we’re excited to announce that the John Cooper Works range will soon be available with electric drive! 

This announcement comes hot on the heels of the release of the MINI Cooper SE Countryman ALL4 plug-in hybrid and the all-electric MINI Cooper SE, which both represent a significant step forward in MINI’s dedication to electric mobility. 

Following the success of these two models, MINI is now looking to electrify the John Cooper Works range. 

“With the MINI Electric, we’ve shown how well driving enjoyment and electric mobility can be combined,” says Bernd Körber, Head of the MINI brand. “Now it’s time to translate the passion for performance of the John Cooper Works brand to electromobility. That’s why we’re working to develop concepts for electric John Cooper Works models.”
